Shopify Integration

Enabling Integrations into POS, 3PL or e-Commerce Websites.
To establish an API connection between Shopify and BikeExchange, please follow the steps below that you will need to implement on your Shopify Admin.
1. From inside the Shopify Store Menu, you'll need to select "Apps" from the menu on the left-hand side.

2. After clicking on 'Apps', there should be a "Manage private apps" hyperlink in blue down the bottom of the page.

3. From this page, select the button "Create a new private app".

4. App Details: You'll need to create a name for your API. This is entirely up to you on what you want this to be called. You will also need to enter an email address for this step:

5. Admin API: You'll now need to enter the following Read/Write permissions for Admin API Permissions as well as set the Webhook API Version to 2020-10.
Please make sure this is exactly the same as shown below:

6. Storefront API: You'll now need to enter the following Read/Write permissions.

8. API Details for BikeExchange: Once you create this app, please scroll to the Admin API section on the same page, and note down the API Key & Password to enter into the BikeExchange platform. You will need this information as well as the store URL (eg. https://my-store.com.au) when setting up the connection in the Integrations Manager.
